"Perhaps I will visit your room tonight ...but don't misunderstand."
Emperor Kuze has rebuilt a crumbling empire and regained his imperial powers, and he is a perfectionist, treating everyone with strictness, including himself. Perhaps because of this he has many enemies inside the court, and he never gets the chance to relax. But Sakuhito tells me that, in truth, he is a warm and gentle person. It seems that there are other reasons for him not displaying his emotions.
"If you want to peek inside my heart, you must show me your inside as well."
Mikage is an exorcist and he is working for the Emperor as a protector and adviser, never leaving his side. He has a suspiciously neutral but pleasant face, but he tends to rub people the wrong way with his words and he is reluctant to show his true self, which has kept most people around him at a distance. I hear the people of the court are quite afraid of him. There are even rumors that he uses sorcery to beguile people and that he exchanges drinks with the dead on rainy nights. I'd steer clear of him if I were you!
"Many times have I longed... to get my hands on you."
Lord Masakuni is the chief councilor of state, and is trusted greatly by the Emperor, as well as the military officers around him. He excels at martial arts, but he is also an educated man, and he is worthy of being by the Emperor's side. Lord Masakuni is manly, yet kind, and revered by many including myself! He lost his wife when he was young and it seems he hasn't been in any romances since, so perhaps he has permanently lost his "Face of a Man". A crying shame for such a reliable and wonderful person.
"You will know soon enough, how much I have grown."
Yui is a pretty young boy who comes from a good household, and is very skilled at poetry and the arts. He is very popular with the ladies of the imperial court, but the boy himself seems totally oblivious of his reputation and unaware of his effects on the opposite gender. However!! It is absolutely unthinkable that he should enter milady's room! No matter how far you and he go back, you are not children anymore, so you should take great care in what you do.
"Me, a good person? There is much about me you do not know."
Sakuhito is usually cheerful and amiable person, but when he acts as the Emperor's wire puller, he is cold and dignified. He was born in one of the Eastern provinces and was dragged to the capital to work for the Emperor at the age of 14, and although you'd expect him to bear a grudge, he's extremely fond of the Emperor. Perhaps there is some reason the Emperor chose him to be his right-hand man.
"Now, milady, allow me to help you change your clothes."
Several years have passed since I became a war orphan and was taken in by your father. I now serve as your personal attendant and I am eternally grateful for that. I will always be with you, milady! ...But if... No, it's nothing. Do not worry. I will never leave your side, milady!
"What is it? Do you want me to visit you again tonight?"
Hisame is the son of an important minister, and comes from a noble family. I hear he's particularly adept at poetry and dance... If only he weren't so overconfident and assuming! I cannot have him meddle in your affairs, milady. You are a servant to the Emperor... for crying out loud! I, Hinata, will protect you from Hisame's wiley hands.
"Your face has stirred something in me... I will abduct you. Be prepared!"
Izo is very passionate about his job and a very serious man, as well as an extremely talented gardener. He is very taciturn, and doesn't talk about much outside of his work, but this is the kind of person that often turns out to be remarkably passionate once they open up. Of course, he is from a different social stratum than you. So please, milady! Do not become too familiar with him!
