Noritsune is the calm, younger general in command of the Taira army.  His strategic and smart thinking is knowns and recognized even from his foes.  He is a worthy opponent to Yoshitsune but doesn't seem to be very fond of the war with the Minamoto's.  However, his strong feelings of duty bounds him tight with the Tairas.  Sometimes he seems desperate to find something and he also seems to know Sohma.
